Dirty and Dry is a creative agency for the drinks & hospitality industry. We are independently-owned, multi-disciplined, and focused on results.


Our work consists of brand strategy, design, film, photography, social media, packaging, art, analytics, and direct sales. Our team consists of designers, strategist, creatives, art workers, and industry known personalities.

Our team


Christian Layton-Hannam

Christian comes from a sales & marketing background having studied business at Loughborough University, and having launched his career working for companies including Warner Bros. Studios and Fever-Tree Drinks. In 2016, noticing the rise in the growth of craft drinks brands, he started to work independently with a variety of businesses providing sales and brand ambassador services to a unique portfolio of clients. His strengths include networking and building a core customer base for clients, developing wholesale relationships, running industry events, and the project management of launching drinks brands.


Christian’s passions outside of work include endurance events in cycling and running, having broken a world record for cycling the length and breadth of the USA in 2012, and running 27 half marathons in 27 days in 2020. He is also a keen tennis player and loves to socialize in the latest bars in London.

Nicholas Kuhne

As the Creative Director at our firm, Nicholas Kuhne brings a thoughtful blend of creativity and industry insight to the drinks sector. With a strong background spanning over two decades, he specialises in managing complex projects and leading diverse teams with a practical yet innovative approach. Nicholas’s experience in brand strategy and campaign development is characterised by a keen understanding of market dynamics, making him a valuable asset to our team. His leadership fosters a collaborative environment where creative ideas are nurtured and executed effectively
